First Time Archers

Archery is a rewarding and exciting sport that builds focus, strength, and confidence. It’s more than just aiming at a target — it’s a skill you can develop and enjoy for life. Our First-Time Archers class is the perfect way to start your journey and discover how fun and fulfilling archery can be.

Who:
Open to everyone! Students must be able to follow instructions and handle equipment safely. Anyone under 18 must come with a parent or guardian, who we encourage to join the class too.

When:
Saturdays, 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM (arrive by 7:45 AM to check in and get equipment). No classes on the first Saturday of each month. Classes may be canceled due to weather or events, with notice on our website or Facebook.

Where:
All students meet on the PRA practice range across the bridge from the parking lot.

Equipment:
All gear is provided free. Please don’t bring your own equipment to the class.

Registration:
You only need to take this class once. Register online with full details for all participants. Adults must register and sign their own waiver. Minors need a parent/guardian to sign their waiver. Classes fill quickly when posted Fridays at noon. No waiting list or walk-ins allowed.

Important:

  • Please do not register for multiple dates. You only need to take the first-time archers class one time. Duplicate registrations will be canceled.
  • Each adult must complete their own registration and sign their own waiver. Adults may not sign waivers for another adult — the name on the registration and the signature must match.
  • Minors (under 18) must be registered using a “Child” ticket, not an “Adult” ticket, and their waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Please don’t email about registration difficulties. Classes are popular and have strict student-instructor limits. There is no waiting list and no walk-ins allowed.
