🎯 What Is a 900 Round?
The 900 Round is a medium- to long-distance archery competition that challenges accuracy at three distances: 60, 50, and 40 yards. It involves 90 arrows total, each worth up to 10 points. A perfect score is 900 points — hence the name.

- Total Arrows: 90
- Ends: 5 ends of 6 arrows at each distance
- Distances: 60 yards → 50 yards → 40 yards
- Target Size: Standard 122 cm 5-color FITA target
- Maximum Score: 900 points (90 arrows × 10 points each)
- Time Limit: 4 minutes per 6-arrow end
- Shooting Surface: Flat, unobstructed ground
- Shooting Style: Multiple archers per target; everyone shoots from the same distance each round
🔢 Scoring
Scoring is based on which colored ring your arrow lands in:
- White: 1–2 points
- Black: 3–4 points
- Blue: 5–6 points
- Red: 7–8 points
- Gold: 9–10 points
- The innermost gold ring is called the “X” ring (or “Spider”), and it's worth 10 points
- X's are used to break ties

- Standard whistle commands are used to start and stop shooting
👥 Divisions & Distances
- Senior Division: Ages 18–49
- Masters Division: Ages 50+
- Juniors: Shoot reduced distances based on age group
